Nassau- Barbara Fausner, age 80, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, 10/11/2023, at Chestnut Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, in Oneonta. Born in East Meadow Long Island, she spent many years in Nassau. A devout catholic, Barbara was a parishioner of St. Mary's in Nassau. She was the Director of the Senior Center in Schodack, owned & operated Nassau Country Gentlemen Farm for 36 years. She was also a member of the Nassau Town Board for 12 years.

Barbara was predeceased by her parents, her daughter, Linda, and life long partner, Raymond. She is survived by her step sons; Steven LaVere and Curt LaVere, her step daughter; Toni Ann LaVere; grandchildren Jennifer, Heidi, Courtney, Alexis, Nico, and Nicole; great grandchildren Braelen and Dominic, along with many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Barbara's family on October 21 from 10:00am-12:00pm, at St. Mary's Church, 26 Church St. Nassau, NY 12123. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 12:00 pm, at the church. Interment will immediately follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Route 203 Nassau, NY 12123. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mohawk-Hudson Humane Society 3 Oakland Ave. Menands, NY 12204
