Obituary of Agnes Carpenter
Mable Agnes Carpenter, 85, of Mims FL., passed away at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, FL. on December 21, 2023. Born in Bennington, VT, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Mable Devlin. Agnes worked for many years as a customer service representative for Key Bank in Albany and was a resident of Nassau prior to moving to Florida.
She is survived by her son John F. Carpenter; grandchildren, Christopher J., Jon-Michael, James A. Jr., and Patrick J. She is also survived by her great grandsons Aidan and Landon and several nieces and nephews. Agnes was predeceased by her loving husband A. John Carpenter; son, James A. Carpenter; brothers, Patrick, Vincent, Theodore, Henry, and Joseph; sisters, Mary Germano, Helen Davis, Barbara Sherwood and Priscilla Visconti.
A funeral service will be held on December 29, 2023 at 12p.m. at the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm St. Nassau. Relatives and friends are invited to call prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Interment to follow in the Nassau Schodack Cemetery.
