Obituary of Ralph E. Wright Sr.

Chatham- Ralph E. Wright Sr., 89, of Chatham, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Ralph was born in Roxbury, NY to the late Beatrice (Fuller) and Joseph W. Wright Sr. He was a self-employed truck driver for many years, which he enjoyed immensely. In his retirement, he loved to go fishing. He was also an avid baseball and basketball fan. Ralph especially enjoyed rooting for the Mets and Yankees. In addition to his parents, Ralph was predeceased by his wife; Sonya Wright, his daughter; Donna Ridgon, his brother; Joseph Jr., and his sister; Evelyn. He is survived by his children; Ralph Wright Jr. of Florida, Mark Wright of Valatie, James Wright of Vermont, Crystal Anderson of Tennessee, and JoAnne Wright of Chatham. He is also survived by his brother; Kay, and his sister; Karen, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Ralph will be inurned next to his wife, in the Nassau-Schodack Cemetery, privately in the spring at the family’s convenience.
