In our deepest sorrow we announce the unexpected passing of Albert M. Lamarre Sr., 71, of East Chatham, at St. Peter’s Hospital on January 27, 2024, with his loving family by his side.  He was born in Pittsfield, MA to the late Lois and Lionel “Leo” Lamarre.

His passion for over 60 years was riding his motorcycle.  In his younger years he enjoyed hunting and fishing.  After retirement from Mt. Greylock Regional School his enjoyment became his passion for his 2 great granddaughters and their time spent together.  He also enjoyed his time spent at McDonalds with his friends who became like his second family and going to casinos with his loving wife.

In addition to his parents, Albert was predeceased by his sibling Roger Lamarre.  He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Charlotte Lamarre; son, Albert Jr. (Jodi), daughter Terry (Paul), grandson John (Kayla), and 2 great granddaughters Lilly-Ann and Daisy-Mae, siblings Edward (Kim), Lawrence (Nancy), Kathie and many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm St. Nassau, on Friday, February 2, 2024, from 4-6p.m.

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Albert may be made to the Baystate Health Foundation, Living Kidney Donor Program, 280 Chestnut St. Springfield, MA 01199 or to the American Heart Association P.O. Box 840692 Dallas, TX 75284.
