Josephine M. Wilson, "Jo", 89, of Nassau, passed away at Seton Health at Schuyler Ridge in Clifton Park on June 11, 2017. Born in Troy she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Louise Boland. Jo was a1945 Graduate of Albany High School. She was a gentle person who lived lightly and gracefully on the earth and was a talented artist who taught others the joy of creating things of beauty. She and her husband lived for over 40 years in their lovingly restored farmhouse, enjoying the gardens and the beautiful setting. Jo found her connection to the spiritual through her love of nature and the outdoors, be it her flower gardens or her camp in the Adirondacks. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and mother-in-law who exhibited compassion for others by accepting them as they were. She was pre-deceased by her husband Robert Wilson and her son William Becker; sisters, Ann Faas, Joan Ralbovsky and Claudia Shepardson. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara McKenna and Christine Shepardson; son, James Becker; sons-in-law Michael Shepardson and Dwight McKenna; daughter-in-law, Anne-Marie Becker; step-sons, Ronald Wilson and Donald Wilson; sister Marion Alcorn; Grandchildren, Rosemary Shepardson, Benjamin Shepardson, Jordan Shepardson, Paul McKenna and Clare Still. She is also survived by her Great grandchildren, Winnie Jo Shepardson and Cameron Still. A graveside service will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 983 Watervliet Shaker Road on Saturday, June 24 at 11:00am all are invited to attend. The family would like to thank the staffs of Eddy Memorial in Troy and Schuyler Ridge in Clifton Park for their care.
