Obituary of Donna J. Tasso

Tasso, Donna Jean Colonie Donna Jean Tasso, 78, of Colonie passed away on Oct. 27, 2018. Daughter of the late Emery and Emma Purdy she was born in Poughkeepsie and had lived many years in the capital district area. Donna was a loving mother, an excellent cook and baker previously working as a Cook for Camp Fowler and as a Baker for Lindsey's Country Store for 20 years. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Vincent Tasso Sr. She is survived by her son, Vincent (Barbara) Tasso Jr. of Clifton Park; daughter, Kathleen (Bill) Oliver of Colonie; sisters, Janet (Rudolph) Noeth of Nassau and Patricia Purdy of South Burlington VT; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. SHE IS HOME, SHE IS SAFE AND SHE IS LOVED BY MANY. A funeral service will be held at the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm St. in Nassau on Tuesday at 11:00AM. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home prior to the service from 9-11AM. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations in Donnas' memory may be made to the Community Hospice, Gift Processing Center, 310 S.
