Ronald Robert Lussier, of Castleton, NY, passed away, Wednesday, August 14, 2019, surrounded by loved ones. Ron was born, June 23, 1946, in Willimantic, Connecticut, where he lived much of his life. Many of his most cherished years, where he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, were spent in the Albany, NY area and Florida. He was proud to be a, US Army Veteran, who served our country from 1963-1966. Ron was also a retired truck driver; a couple of his favorite jobs were; limo driver for the Mohican Sun and Armored vehicle driver. Ron loved life and some of his treasured pastimes were; fishing, being a Shriner, being a member of The American Legion (Post 1231), singing Karaoke & making people laugh. He was preceded in death by; his father, Raymond Lussier and mother Beverly Lussier. Ron is survived by, his adored partner-in-Love and Life, Linda Cholewa and their four-legged kid Macy; four sons: Artie Lussier (Lisa) of Nassau, NY, Tommy Lussier (Pam) of Nassau, NY, Ronnie Lussier of Troy, NY and Adam Lussier (Jessica) of Waterford, NY; three grandsons: Adam Lussier, Justin Hemingway and Thomas Lussier; one great-granddaughter: Scarlet; four siblings: sister Dolores, three brothers: Russell, Ray and Norman. Visitation service will be, Monday, August 19, 2019, from 4-7 PM, at Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home in Nassau, NY. In lieu of flowers, Ron would sincerely have loved, for all to, make a donation, in his name, to your choice of US Veteran charity or the ASPCA.
