Patricia Burkart, 83 passed away peacefully at St. Peter's Hospital on March 25, 2020. Born June 28, 1936 in Manhattan, NY, she grew up in Queens Village. Patricia raised her family, James (deceased), Linda and Billy on Long Island, NY. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her and her husband retired in their mid-80's to North Carolina where they enjoyed the beaches and golf. She drove a school bus for 25+ years and was known as "Big Red" to many students. She enjoyed boating with her family and friends, a good card game and many cruises. She could play blackjack through the night at the casinos. She moved upstate in 2015 to be near her daughter Linda. No service scheduled at this time. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
