Doris M. McKever passed away peacefully on March 24, 2021 in Orlando, Florida. She was born in West Hazelton, PA on May 20, 1930. After graduating from high school in Elmira, NY, she moved with her family to Nassau, NY. In 1951, she married William D. McKever, who preceded her in death in 2019. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Walter R. Jacobs. Doris is survived by their daughter Pamela and son-in-law Robert Nunn of Longwood, FL, three loving grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Gail Jacobs, of Silver Spring, MD, and several nieces and nephews, of whom she was very proud. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 9th, 11:00 am at the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm St. Nassau. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, capacity for the service will be held to 40 people. A private interment will follow in the Nassau-Schodack Cemetery.
