Lisa M. Rossello, 56, of Nassau passed away June 18, 2021 in the Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital. Born in Albany she was the cherished daughter of Virginia and Paul Doherty and the late George Myers. Lisa started her career with the State of New York immediately after high school and retired in 2020 after 37 years of service. She gave her time to teach Religion with St. Mary’s Church in Nassau for 16 years, was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her family on their boat. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving husband of 33 years Paul Rossello; sons, Jeremy and Ryan; brother, Christopher (Celina) Myers and step mother Debbie Myers; stepsiblings, Amy (Joe) Sicker, Brian Doherty and Deanna Doherty; mother in law, Joan Rossello; brother in law, Anthony (Kathy) Rossello; sisters in law, Lynn Rossello and Joanne (Dean) Benamati. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her father-in-law, Anthony J. Rossello, Sr. The family would like to thank the many friends and family who shared encouragement, support, and prayers. They would also like to thank Dr. Theodosiou and staff at St. Peter’s cancer Care Center for all their care and compassion. Relatives and friends are invited to call at St. Mary’s Church, 26 Church St. in Nassau on Monday evening from 4-7Pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s on Tuesday morning at 10:00AM. Donations in Lisa’s memory may be made to JDRF online or by mail to 950 Loudon Road #330 Latham, NY 12110.
