Regina C. Yelle, 87 passed away January 26, 2022 at home surrounded by family. Regina was born in East Schodack on March 25, 1934 and was a lifelong resident of Schodack. She worked on her family farm from a young age. She married the love of her life Raymond in 1954 and they had been together for 73 years. She also worked at the family business, E. E. Taylor Industrial Electronics in Albany for many years. Regina is survived by her adoring husband Raymond Yelle, son Raymond (Laura)Yelle Jr., daughter Rena (Ken) Peter. Granddaughters, Elise (Fredrick) Yelle, Jacqueline (Adam) Yelle, Ashley and Kaylee Peter, and grandson, Michael Yelle. Step granddaughters, Julie (Jason) Peter and Theresa (Bruce) Fleming. She is also survived by, three great granddaughters/grandson, three step great granddaughter/grandsons, along with many nieces and nephews including, Renee Goodall and Barbara Earley. She is predeceased by her parents Anna Skarzynski and Alexander Sharkowitz, her sister Jeanette Lindeman, and nephews Daniel and Kenneth Lindeman. Regina treasured spending time with her family. Specifically, she and her husband were talented polka dancers. She loved her animals, and she had many in her lifetime. The most recent and precious to her was her granddog Bella, Bella loved her gramma most of all. She also had a passion for horses and horse shows. Regina enjoyed spending time with her sister, Jenny playing cards with their close friends. She also spent time each week teaching a ceramics class with her daughter, Rena. A special thanks to Pam and Bob Barber for your continued support throughout the years. Also, Carolyn Allen for all your support and time spent with us during this difficult time. You are all truly family to us. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Donations can be made to Columbia Greene Humane Society or St Jude’s Children’s Hospital in memory of Regina.
