Frank J. Skarzynski, of Nassau, NY, passed away Friday, April 22, 2022 at the age of 74. Born in Albany, Frank was the son of the late Henry and Emily (Narel) Skarzynski. He is survived by his children, Tammi Skarzynski, Greg Skarzynski, Steven Hilton (Lucero Lilchin), Frank Skarzynski Jr (Trisha Pride), and Stacey Mercier (Michael); his grandchildren, Tristine, Greg Jr., Ryan, Madelynn, Logan, Evan, Celeste, Kristopher, and Sophia; siblings Henry Jr. (Cookie) and Jean (John). He was also blessed with two great grandchildren, Truman and Savannah.
A Jack of All Trades, Frank worked as a carpenter. He loved cooking family dinners, camping at Lake Champlain, clamming in Rhode Island, and family fall trips to Vermont. He was a member of the Albany Polish-American Citizens Club. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and community.
Friends and relatives are invited to call at Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm Street, Nassau NY on Thursday April 28, 2022, from 4:00-7:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Frank’s honor to the Northeast Kidney Foundation, 22 Colvin Ave., Albany NY 12206.
