I’m sorry to hear of Martin’s passing, and sending condolences to his family.
I met him through theater friends who thought I might like to join in one of his Broadway reviews. I had been away from performing musicals for awhile, and Martin gave me the confidence to get back out there again. I love that he was always looking to do one thing more, and am thankful for his patience and confidence in me.

I would like to send condolences to Martin's family. My late husband, Dick Weeks did several theater experiences with/for Martin many years ago. I especially remember Martin's play "By The People" which went to the Lambs Club in New York. Martin was a good friend and mentor to us and many others who loved theater. He also wrote an Obituary for Dick a few years later which my family cherishes with gratitude.
When I met Martin again after some time he was writing plays about history in Whitehall about a Revolutionary woman named Kathy Skene. I told him I had the maternal many times Great-Granddaughter of hers sitting in my living room. My good friend from England, Kathy (Skene) Tyrwhitt-Drake was visiting me at the time. There has been a Kathy named for Kathy Skene in her family for generations.
Martin, with his gracious sense of humor and enthusiasm then took us for a visit to Whitehall. They shared information and we visited people from the historical society.
At times like these I guess we always wish we had kept in touch more. Martin was a kind, humorous and generous friend with enthusiasm and great integrity. I am sorry I can't be there at this time to tell you what a marvelous person he was. I'd love to share stories and would be glad to talk to anyone who wants to do that about Martin.
With sorrow
Corinne Weeks
