Obituary of Irma W. Sheets
Nassau
Irma W. Sheets, 82, of Morey Park passed away on Friday December 30, 2022 at Albany Medical Center. Irma was born in Albany and lived in the Miller Road area of East Greenbush before moving to Morey Park over 50 years ago. She was a Certified Nurses Aide at Albany Medical Center and then a private duty aide. She loved spending time with her family camping and enjoying the wildlife. She was predeceased by her parents George W. Sr. and Frances (Miller) Deuel; siblings, Doris, George, Frances, Carl, Clyde and Linda.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years George J. Sheets; daughters, Debra Trombley and Kim Fiacco; grandchildren, Timothy, Jessica, John, Amber and Nicholas. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be on Thursday, January 5, 1:00pm at the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm St. Nassau. Relatives and friends are invited to call prior to the funeral from 11:00am-1:00pm. Interment will be in East Greenbush Cemetery.
