Obituary of Michael A. Rings

Michael A. Rings, 40 of Nassau, NY passed away on Thursday January 5.  Michael was born at Albany Medical Center on September 12, 1982.  He spent most of his life in New York State but lived in California for ten years and was employed as a personal trainer.  He enjoyed traveling, visiting family and making music.

He is survived by his parents Barry and Jeannine Rings; brother, Barry (Emily) Rings Jr.; nieces, Isabella and Isla Rings; maternal grandmother, Marion Gardner; aunts and uncles, Robin, Tim, Dean, Lorrayne, Sandy, Bob, Carol and Cindi; several cousins, Bryan, Austin, Eric, Brian, Cheryl, Audra and Kara.  He is predeceased by his maternal grandfather Donald Gardner; paternal grandparents Joseph and Irene Rings and his uncles, Joseph and William Rings.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm St. Nassau, on Sunday January 15, from 12-3pm.  There will be a celebration of life held at the Chandler-Young VFW Post, 7 Lyons Lake Rd. Nassau, NY 12123 at 4pm following the calling hours.
