I knew Virginia many years ago when we were both young. She was a beautiful person inside and out. She was the prime example of what a mother should be. I respected her and looked up to her so much. She always had a quite strength and gave so much in life.
I’m blessed to have known her. The world is less bright without her.

I met Virginia the summer of 1957 when I first came to Bunker Hill to meet Diana's grandmother.
I met Tom two years later that summer that Diana and I were married. We were proud to be the hosts at their wedding.
For 50 years, coming up from New York to visit Ginny and Tom, was our escape from the city to be with our dear country friends. We celebrated many holidays and other family events together. I miss those days very much but have many sweet memories.

Ginny and I were friends since we were both five years old and our grandmothers were neighbors on Bunker Hill.
We lived our lives in parallel, grew up together, raised our families together and saw our husbands become friends for 50 years. I will miss my dear friend. We even shared fourth grade in East Greenbush together.

Ginny was always warm and welcoming whenever I visited her and Tom during my teen years and as a young woman. Although I have not seen her since a few years after Tom's passing, prior to my sister's death in 2021, we kept in touch with cards. I truly admired her creativity and will remember her warm beautiful smile always.
Wishing the family peace.

I'll never forget the day I first met her, laughing in the sunshine in her red convertible--the most wickedly gleeful mom I've ever know. She made a huge impression in my life over the decades I knew her. I love her dearly.

You'll always be my Mom.
And I'll always be your little girl.
This world takes too much, but it won't take that from me.
I love you.
