Obituary of Daniel A. Crawley

East Nassau- Daniel A. Crawley, 70, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at St. Peter’s Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Daniel was born in Albany, on October 30, 1952, to the late Francis and Elizabeth (Troskowski) Crawley. Daniel was a route salesman for Heluva Good Cheese and Sure Winner Foods. He was also a car detailer for Marsh Hallman Chevrolet and in retirement he worked for  Hannaford Bros.  Daniel was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish when he was able. Daniel also enjoyed gardening and tending to his vegetables. He enjoyed spending time near a campfire listening to old country music, particularly Johnny Cash. Daniel was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Daniel was predeceased by his parents and his sons Mark and Adam Crawley. He is survived by his wife Robin Crawley, his son Shaun (Fiancé Tasheena) Crawley, and his daughter-in-law Tara Crawley. He is also survived by his grandchildren Kayden, Dominic, Mckenna, Levi, and Autumn. In addition, he is survived by siblings Gary (Anna) Crawley, Robert (Doirinne) Crawley, and Doreen Kilventon, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Daniel’s family on Tuesday, June 20, from 4:00-7:00 pm, at the Thomas P. Mooney Funeral Home, 11 Elm St. Nassau, NY 12123. His funeral mass will be celebrated by the Rev. John Close, on Wednesday, June 21, at 10:00am at St. Mary’s Parish, 26 Church St. Nassau, NY 12123.
