Nassau- Clarise M. (Therrien) Moak, 94, passed away at Columbia Memorial Hospital, on Sunday, July 16, 2023. Clarise was born to the late Florian and Marion (Fisher) Therrien, as she would say "in the little town of Bethlehem," on July 9, 1929. Clarise was the wife of the late William H. Moak.

Clarise spent most of her life as a homemaker. She was a former Sunday School teacher for the Grace United Methodist Church, of Nassau, NY. She was a loving and caring person, who would have given anyone the shirt off her back. Clarise enjoyed gambling, playing her numbers and slots. She loved her sweets, especially candy and ice cream not to mention the occasional rum and cokes. Clarise has missed all those that went before her, especially her husband and siblings, whom she loved with her whole heart.

Clarise was predeceased by her parents, husband, as well as her brothers Paul and Julian Therrien; her sisters Anna DeStefano, Dorothy Levenburg, and Lorraine Bruder; and her daughter-in-law, Karen Moak. She is survived by her son Kenneth D. (late Karen) Moak and her daughter Patricia L. (Gerald) Price. She is also survived by her grandchildren; William, Sabrina, Kenneth, Jerry Jr., and Jason; She had also been blessed with her great grandchildren; “Sweet” Caroline, Lydia Jade, Kyra, and Jeremy.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to all of Clarise’s nieces, nephews, and friends of the family for the care and support they have offered. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
